The doctors like to run personal lists and you are encouraged to see your own doctor whenever possible.  Exceptions are emergencies, when doctors are on holiday and for certain specialised services.

All children are offered & encouraged to have immunisations as per the recommended NHS Schedule.

NB

All primary school aged children are offered the flu nasal vaccine at school. 2-3 year olds will be offered this in surgery.

Girls and boys aged 12-13 are offered vaccination against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) to prevent cervical cancer at school.

BCG is no longer offered routinely at 14 years old.  However, at risk newborns will be immunised.  Your midwife / health visitor will advise & arrange immunisation.
