Do you need vaccinations?

If you are travelling abroad you may require vaccinations relating to foreign travel.  Please call the surgery to make a 20 minute appointment, preferably 6 weeks prior to your travel date.

Prior to your appointment complete one form per traveller and bring this to your appointment, download and read our travel health advice leaflet.

PLEASE contact the surgery in good time before your departure date (preferably 4-6 weeks prior to travel) to ensure a timely appointment with the nurse.

It is important you are covered with the correct vaccinations but please be aware we might not have the capacity to offer last minute travel appointments and you may need to attend a private travel clinic.

Only Hepatitis A and Typhoid are offered on the NHS to our registered patients and all other vaccines will be chargeable, please see Non NHS travel vaccine tab for costs.  Also some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.

NB at the moment we are experiencing a national shortage of vaccines so some will not be available.  The practice nurse will advise you of these at your appointment.

Chargeable vaccines need to be paid for in full in advance of being administered as they are ordered per patient need. If you change your mind about receiving chargeable vaccines, we may not be able to refund you. Refunds will depend on individual cases and be at the discretion of Holbrook Surgery.
